PLA
FDM
PLA (polylactic acid) is the most common FDM material. It dimensionally stable, great for prototypes, concept models, and low-wear toys. However, it lacks the temperature resistance offered by most other materials offer.

Strengths
Low cost
Best detail and dimensional accuracy of FDM Materials
Best choice for large FDM parts
Good inter-layer adhesion (layer bonding)
Biodegradable in industrial compost
Weaknesses
Low-temperature resistance ~55°C
